Local Wine Events

If you are a snowbird who loves wine, you will not want to miss out on some local wine events happening this weekend in North Myrtle Beach!

North Myrtle Beach's local winery La Belle Amie Vineyard is hosting a Island Music Fever Festival, Saturday November 7th from 12pm to 5pm. Enjoy listening to some island music while sipping on a glass of local wine. This beautiful venue is home to a very unique gift shop that offers some really great gift ideas. They also have a section of marinades and dressings that are perfect for entertaining. My favorite is the Ginger Wasabi Marinade-great on tuna steaks! The Wine Shoppe of North Myrtle Beach offers weekly wine tastings at both their Gator Hole Wine Cellar and at their Windy Hill Wine Shoppe. The Gator Hole Wine Cellar offers a Saturday afternoon tasting from 2:00-6:00 while the Windy Hill Wine Shoppe offers a Friday and Saturday evening tasting from 5:00-8:00. Guests normally have a chance to taste 4-5 different wines from around the world. Both events are a fun way to learn about wine and to mingle with both locals and other snowbirds visiting the Grand Strand area. 28th Annual Dickens Christmas Show

A fun event for snowbirds in the Myrtle Beach area for November is the 28th Annual Dickens Christmas Show. Scheduled for November 12th-15th, this favorite of both locals and visitors, is held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Get into the spirit of Christmas as you stroll thru 350 period clad vendors all offering great gift shopping opportunities! The Festival of Trees and Wreaths is my favorite part of the show, as area businesses decorate beautifully crafted Christmas Trees and Wreaths to be auctioned off in a silent auction. A great way to get decorating ideas for your own tree!

The show also offers tours to the historic areas of Georgetown and Florence where one can view old plantations decorated for Christmas and enjoy lively narratives tales on a Victorian Christmas era. Be sure to make your reservations early for the bus tours as they sell out fast!

Winter Rental Property of the Week!

We have 3 Blue Water Keyes condos available for winter rental. Centrally located in North Myrtle Beach, these 2 bedroom 2 bath oceanview condos are located in the oceanfront Blue Water Keyes resort and are perfect for your snowbird retreat!

All three condos, 601, 701, and 1101 offer a king size bed in the master bedroom with a private bathroom and a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom with a private bathroom. They boast an open floor plan in the living/dining areas and offer all of the amenities of home with fully equipped kitchens and a washer/dryer in the condo. The resort has an on-site parking garage with 2 elevators. The resort offers an indoor pool and on-site fitness area that overlooks the ocean.

The condos start at $875.00 for one month with the rate being lowered for additional months and are available November 1st-March 27th..
