Last Chance for a Great Oyster Roast

I had the BEST oyster roast for dinner Sunday night and I wanted to share the details with all of my snowbird friends! My fiancee and I went to Billy the Kids off of Highway 9 in Little River for dinner as people have always said that their oyster roasts were the best. And after eating what seemed like an endless pile of oysters, I want to confirm that yes, Billy the Kids is the place to go!
A full oyster roast was $22.00 (market price) and was more than enough for both of us to share. The oysters were huge and very easy to open which was a plus. Our waitress informed us that there is about one month left of what she called "good oysters" so plan on going in the next few weeks to enjoy this delectable treat!
I hope you are all enjoying your Myrtle Beach winter getaway and thank you for choosing Southern Coast Vacations as your Myrtle Beach snowbird headquarters!

To all of my snowbird friends, don't forget to mark your calendars for the 43rd Annual Can-Am Days! The free, family-friendly event will be held March 14th-March 22nd, 2009.
There will be military band concerts, wildlife and history days, and a International Kitefest! Showcasing South Carolina's national dance will be The National Shag Dance Championship and kicking off the celebration will be the annual North Myrtle Beach St. Patricks Day parade and festival.
For a list of all Can-Am events, stop at the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce on Oak Street or visit their website!
Enjoy your escape from the blustery snow and thank you for choosing Southern Coast Vacations as your winter rental snowbird headquarters!
